StackLyft

Your Shopify store, in step with the work.

Connect your Shopify store and its products stay in step with your StackLyft catalogue, field by field, with nothing overwritten unasked. Orders come in as customers and jobs, and dispatching one marks it fulfilled in Shopify with the tracking number.

At a glance

Up to 5,000 products, kept in step both ways. Orders in as customers and jobs. Fulfilled in Shopify when you dispatch, with tracking. Nothing overwritten without asking.

Products in step, field by field

Name, code, barcode, price, cost, brand, size, weight and more, each set to sync both ways, one way or not at all. A field changed on both sides waits for you to pick.

Matched for you

Products are matched by code, then barcode, then name, and AI suggests the rest. Nothing is linked until you accept it.

Orders become jobs

An order comes in as a customer and a supply job, priced at what the customer paid ex GST, with shipping on as its own cost. Anything that needs a person waits for you.

Bundles and made products

A Shopify product can be a bundle, a two-pack or something you make, so an order puts every part on the job and a made product plans its own run.

Fulfilled with tracking

Dispatch the order in Production and Shopify marks it fulfilled with the carrier and tracking number, and emails the customer. If Shopify says no, it tries again.

The store at a glance

Net sales, orders, average order, new and returning customers, refunds and best sellers against the period before, over 7, 30, 90 or 365 days.

Connected in three steps

1. Connect: Type your store address, approve StackLyft in Shopify and come back. Your catalogue is read in the background. 2. Match your products: Accept the matches, link the rest by hand, or make products on either side from the other. 3. Take orders: Check the cost centre the jobs go on and who they are made as, and orders come in as jobs from then on.

Worth knowing

An order makes a job, not an invoice, and records no payment. Invoice the job as you would any other. Stock goes one way, from StackLyft to one Shopify location, in whole units, and only if you switch it on. A refund or a cancellation is noted and you are told, but the job is not changed for you. Shopify is off for everyone, owners included, until it is ticked in Controls.

Questions

Which way do products sync?

You choose for each field. By default cost and unit of measure go from StackLyft to Shopify, the description comes from Shopify only so your staff notes stay private, and everything else goes both ways.

How is GST handled?

StackLyft holds prices ex GST. If your store shows prices including tax, Shopify gets them with 10% GST added, and a price changed in Shopify comes back as a markup on the same cost.

What if an order cannot become a job straight away?

It waits on the Orders tab for someone to press Create job. A product that is not linked, a product with no cost, a price under your minimum markup or an order over 50 lines all hold it.

Does StackLyft send stock levels to Shopify?

Only if you switch it on. Then the on-hand figure for linked stocked products goes to one Shopify location you choose as it changes, in whole units and never below zero.
