Email the customers you already quoted.

Your CRM already knows who you quoted, for what, where and when. Pick an audience off the map, by cost centre, by status and by date, send it from your own Gmail or Outlook, and see which quotes and jobs each email brought in, in dollars.

Draw it on the map.

Every quote and job you have, placed on its site. Draw a circle round a place from 0.5 km to 1,000 km, stretch a rectangle over a stretch of coast, or click round any shape up to 200 points. Narrow it with the filters and the list beside the map is who gets the email.

Every filter, spelled out.

Quotes, jobs or both. Quote status: pending or sent, accepted, converted to a job, lost or archived. Job status: open, completed or archived, and whether it has been invoiced. Your own cost centres, down to the sub-cost-centre. Any date on the record, from and to: created, sent, converted, lost, completed or archived. A value range ex GST. Then leave out customers with complaints or notifiable incidents, anyone you cannot email, your never-email list and anyone a campaign reached in the last 7 days. Save any list as an audience to use again, or import a CSV.

Written once, personal for everyone.

Merge fields fill in from the live record when the email goes: the customer, the site, the cost centres, the quote and the job, and every column of an imported list. Every link and button is checked before it goes in, attachments are checked when they are added, and you can step through the real emails, recipient by recipient, before anything is sent.

From your mailbox, at a pace it accepts.

Campaigns go from the Gmail or Outlook you already use, one email at a time, in the background. Each mailbox has a daily limit under what its provider allows: by default 400 a day for gmail.com, 1,800 for Google Workspace, 250 for Outlook.com and 5,000 for Microsoft 365, and you can change it. Up to 10,000 people per campaign; a list bigger than a day carries on tomorrow. Pause, resume, stop or schedule it.

Test two, send the winner.

Send two versions to between 10% and 90% of the list, split evenly, and hold the rest back. After a wait of 1 to 72 hours the version with more opens or more clicks goes to everyone held back, or you pick the winner yourself.

What each email brought in.

A quote, or a job booked without one, created within 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days of the email for the same customer, email address, first and last name or site address is credited to the most recent campaign email before it. Results show quotes, jobs won, invoiced and paid, by campaign, with a funnel and a CSV of every record.

Ask how it went, by text.

When a job is marked complete you are offered a feedback text asking for a score from 0 to 10. Replies are read as scores and land in one inbox with the average and the conversation. Asking for a Google review is its own step, from the job, by text or email. Texts go from your own Twilio number.

Built to be a good sender.

Every campaign email carries an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe. Anyone who unsubscribes, anyone on your never-email list and anyone emailed in the last 7 days is skipped at the moment of sending, and every recipient’s outcome is kept.

Questions

Is Marketing included, or is it an add-on?

It is part of StackLyft: every account gets the map, the filters, saved audiences, A/B tests and the results. We do not charge per email, because the emails go from your own mailbox. Feedback texts go through your own Twilio number, which Twilio bills you for. The Draft with AI button is part of the AI tools, and we have not published a price for those yet, so ask us.

How many people can one campaign go to?

Up to 10,000. How fast they go is set by your mailbox rather than by us: by default 400 a day from a gmail.com address, 1,800 from Google Workspace, 250 from Outlook.com and 5,000 from Microsoft 365, each under what the provider itself allows. A list bigger than a day's limit carries on the next day by itself, and you can set a different limit per mailbox.

Will my campaign land in the inbox?

Nobody can promise that, and we will not. What we can say is that each email goes from your real mailbox, one at a time at a steady pace, with an unsubscribe link and the one-click unsubscribe Gmail and Yahoo ask bulk senders for, to people who have dealt with you before. That is about as good a start as email gets.

How do you know an email brought in a job?

A quote, or a job booked without a quote, created within the window you pick after the email (30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days) for the same customer, the same email address, the same first and last name or the same site address is credited to the most recent campaign email before it. The quote or job the email was about never counts, so emailing somebody about their own open quote is not called new work.

Can I email a list that is not in StackLyft?

Yes. Import a CSV and it suggests which column is the email address and which are names, and you can change its choices. Your other columns become merge fields for that campaign. The consent to email the people on it has to be yours.

Can staff use it without seeing everything?

Marketing can be hidden per person, and the invoiced and paid figures in the results only show for somebody allowed to see invoices. Everybody else sees the quotes and jobs, with the money marked hidden rather than shown as zero.
