Measure the drawings where you quote.

Put the plans on the quote or the job, set the scale and measure lengths, areas and counts on the drawing itself. A scan reads floor plans and landscape plans for you to check, a 3D view lets you walk through it, and every measurement goes onto the estimate at your own rates.

At a glance

PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP plans, several sheets a job. Lengths, areas, arcs, cut-outs and counts. Floor plans, and site and landscape plans. Onto the estimate as material and labour lines.

Measure on the sheet

Lengths, areas, rectangles, circles, arcs, cut-outs and counts, with snapping, typed lengths and full undo. A height gives wall area, a depth gives volume and a pitch gives pitched area.

A floor plan read for you

Read Drawing finds the rooms, doors, windows and fixtures. The areas come off the drawing itself, not a guess, and nothing is costed until you confirm it.

Site and landscape plans

Driveways, paths, lawn, garden beds, fences and retaining walls measured off the plan, and the trees, shrubs and plants drawn on it counted.

Walk through it in 3D

Build the plan in 3D with its walls, doors and windows, walk through it room by room, resize a room from there and drop in your own 3D models.

Counted in one drag

Drag a box round one symbol and auto-count finds every copy of it on the sheet, upright or turned on its side.

Straight onto the estimate

Pick rooms or shapes and assign pre-builds, products or labour. The lines land on the quote with the measured quantity and your own cost and markup.

How a takeoff runs

1. Upload the plans: A PDF or a picture of each sheet, onto the quote or the job. 2. Set the scale and measure: Draw over one dimension you know, or let a CAD PDF read its own, then measure or read the drawing. 3. Confirm and cost it: Check what was read, confirm it, and assign the costs.

Worth knowing

Prices come from your own price list, not a live feed from your merchant. Nothing read off a drawing is costed until a person confirms it, and the scan flags what to check, like a room that does not close or a wall height that is only the default. Takeoff is on the full quote and job screens, not the phone app's field screens. The plan scan doesn't have a published price yet, so ask us.

Questions

What plan files can I use?

A PDF, including a multi-page set, or a JPG, PNG or WebP picture, up to 25 MB each. Each one is its own sheet, and a quote or job can hold several.

Do I have to set the scale?

For a picture or a scanned PDF, yes: draw a line over one dimension you know and type its length. A CAD PDF has its scale read off its own dimension strings.

Does the scan work out the areas?

The areas and lengths are measured off the drawing itself. The AI only points at the rooms and reads their names, and nothing is costed until you confirm it.

Can I show the customer a 3D view?

Yes. The 3D view builds the plan with its walls, doors and windows, and you can walk through it room by room.
