Plans, subbies and every variation, on one job.
Measure off the drawings, quote it, give each trade a work order and keep track of what you owe them, with retention recorded per claim. When a job needs another business, send it across the StackLyft Network.
At a glance
Takeoff on the drawings, priced off your rates. Work orders and a portal for subbies, with no seat needed. Insurances and licences with their expiry dates. Retention recorded per claim.
Takeoff where you quote
Measure lengths, areas and counts on the plans and push them onto the estimate as material and labour lines.
Work orders for the trades
Each subbie gets a work order with the scope and the agreed price, and answers it and uploads their paperwork through a portal.
Compliance before they are on site
Insurances, trade licences and their expiry dates sit on the contractor record, so you know before they turn up.
Pay for what was done
Their invoice is matched against the work order and against what was actually done, and retention is recorded per claim.
Variations that get paid
Price it, send it, get it signed, and it lands on the job as extra work that gets invoiced.
Other businesses on the network
Send RFQs and work orders to businesses on StackLyft, or hand a won quote to a partner and follow their progress.
From the drawings to the final claim
1. Measure and quote: Takeoff on the plans, priced off your own rates. 2. Hand out the work: Work orders to your subbies, or requests to businesses on the network. 3. Pay and claim: Invoices matched to the work, and retention recorded as you go.
Worth knowing
Takeoff prices come from your own price list, not a live feed from your merchant. Xero is the only accounting package StackLyft syncs with today.
Questions
Do subcontractors need a StackLyft seat?
No. They open their work order, respond to it and upload their paperwork through a portal, without you paying for a seat for them.
Can StackLyft track retention?
Yes. Retention is recorded per claim as you go, which is the only way anybody ever gets it back.
Can I measure off the plans?
Yes. Plans go onto the quote or the job, you set the scale off one dimension you know, and measure lengths, areas and counts on the drawing itself.
